A long-time resident of downtown Elgin, Megan has been a pillar of the community since 1989, dedicating herself to supporting the arts and championing local culture. Her expertise in financial management and nonprofit accounting ensures the festival operates responsibly while maximizing its contributions to the Elgin Arts Association’s mission.

In addition to her financial acumen, Megan is an accomplished mixed media artist and owner of Twisted Garage Art Studio. Her creative spirit and hands-on approach to problem-solving enrich her role in the festival. Megan is deeply involved in community events, including the Dia de Los Muertos festival and the Explore Elgin Arts & Culture initiative, where she regularly brings her organizational and artistic talents to the forefront.
